LESSONS YOUR CHILD WILL STICK WITH
Halle* came to us from a different teacher. This shy, silent girl had little spark left for music. As we built a positive rapport, we also did some investigation into what motivated Halle. She was given a practice challenge to win a rubber chicken. Halle worked SO hard...and...SHE WON THE CHICKEN! Since then, her confidence has skyrocketed, she has totally broken out of her shell, and she's rocking the violin!
(*Name changed)
"Being in lessons has given my daughter confidence in herself, and pride in what she's been able to do and how much she has progressed."
Katherine W., Halle's mom
FROM NO SPARK TO "ON FIRE"

This girl is on fire!...
Your child will rock it too.
WHAT WE OFFER
MLSTRINGS STRINGS ACADEMY
This is an affordable violin, viola and cello program for children ages 7 - 18. Students in our program stick with it because we personalize 100% of the student experience so the learning feels easy and the playing sounds good.
WHAT IS INCLUDED

Our Signature Lesson Experience
This is the core of your child’s musical training. Students attend a 50-minute weekly session designed to combine personalized instruction with collaborative learning. Each lesson includes focused individual coaching as well as opportunities to develop ensemble skills, performance confidence, and musical independence in a supportive studio environment.

Performance OpportunitiesThat Build Confidence
Watch your child perform with confidence at our Group Showcase and shine at our Solo Showcase. Students also love our Outdoor Park Showcase, where they perform in a relaxed setting and even teach their parents how to play their instrument - followed by pizza, of course.

Throughout the year, students also have additional community performance opportunities to share their beautiful playing.

Music Education Beyond the Lesson
As just a few examples, students get a behind-the-scenes look at how violins are made, get to go backstage in large concert halls, and discover how professionals record music with a sound engineer.

Our students are always learning with outside-the-box opportunities to enhance their music education.

A Smarter Way to Practice and Progress
All students have access to Practice Space - this app gives students a fun and motivating place to stay accountable with their practicing.
Students can track their progress, send videos, chat with their teacher, and stay encouraged as they build strong habits and celebrate their musical growth.

Developing Tomorrow’s Musicians and Leaders
Our Teaching Protege Program gives advanced students the opportunity to deepen their musical skills while serving as leaders in the studio. Proteges assist with lessons throughout the week and receive close mentorship from MLStrings founder, Margie Looney. They are incredible role models, and younger students absolutely love working with them.

Personalized Student Success Portfolio
Want to see your child’s progress but not keep track of all the papers? That’s why we created a personalized portfolio…to keep your child’s goals, successes, and photos in one place — to treasure them for years to come!

Scroll Strings Graduation Program
This is our highly effective karate-belt-like system to keep students motivated. Students love graduating levels and enjoy tying their hard earned ribbons for everyone to see!

Simple Ways to Help Your Child Succeed
How do you support your child with music? No need to guess or assume…we tell you the most effective ways!

We celebrate your child’s successes – big and small – on our Facebook Wall of Fame. This is a convenient way to share your child’s hard work with friends and family…and keep motivation high!
Check out the studio calendar here!

OUR GUARANTEE
We stand behind our services. If you or your child aren’t satisfied after joining, we will completely refund your first lesson's tuition – unconditional and guaranteed. We’re so confident you’ll like our program…because to date, not one parent has asked for a refund.
